Teaching Philosophy
Dr. Gutiérrez’s teaching philosophy is shaped by over a decade of experience in diverse educational settings, ranging from community colleges to R1 research institutions. Through these experiences, she has come to understand that one of the most feminist approaches to undergraduate teaching is to recognize that is not about how much a professor knows, but about how much the student learns.
